Along the West Fork of the Flathead River, this vast pristine ecosystem is the centerpiece of what has been referred to as the "Crown of the Continent”. Rivers and lakes and valleys, densely forested with deer and elk and bear grazing in the meadows, you’ll be transported to the early years of American beauty. West Glacier is also home to a beautiful golf course at affordable rates. Not into the big course? There’s a brand new 18-hole mini golf course in West Glacier Village, with free games for kids under 5.

West Glacier even has an Amtrack station for easy cross-country travel. It’s a lively little community but has few permanent residents. Its primary attraction is Glacier National Park, a magnificent drivable park with breathtaking mountain views, hikes short and long, and wildlife galore.
