Evaro is at the top of a long hill, four miles north of Missoula, and is aptly named by the Salish Tribe, “Little Open Valley on Top Between Hills”. Evaro sits at the southernmost tip of The Flathead Indian Reservation, a 1.3 million acre area (about half the size of Connecticut) home to three tribes: the Bitterroot Salish, Upper Pend d'Oreille, and the Kootenai. Think beautiful mountain views and wide-open spaces with few neighbors along the corridor of Highway 93 and on the way to Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park.
