You'll LOVE Stevensville

While the population of Stevensville tends to stay a little under 2000, the town itself sits on just ONE square mile. It includes portions of the Bitterroot River and Highway 93, which is the main corridor from Canada down through the Bitterroot Valley to Idaho, making it an easy commute to nearly anywhere in Western Montana. Agricultural areas, ranches and small farms ebb from the town until you bump into the foothills of the Sapphires.

Combined with incredible views in every direction, it is also known for an abundance of things to do. Whether you enjoy fishing on the river, attending sporting events at the nearby University of Montana, or cross country skiing, snow boarding or snowmobiling in the backcountry just outside of Stevensville, you are sure to find that all of your wishes will be met. While there are only 2 full-time police officers on duty in the town, the overall crime rate is less than half that of the rest of the country.
